  • Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF) has been introducing the various latest feature films across all genres in which music plays a central role.   • 2. Korean Music Film Now - Korean Competition
  • JIMFF opened its Korean competition section in 2021 to discover and promote Korean music films and show the new vision of Korean music filmmakers. About 10 feature and short films will be selected for the competition and the jury members will select films each in feature and short length during the festival period. The awarded films will receive the following prize

  • 3. How to submit my film?
  • You can submit your film on our official entry page: entry.jimff.org/en
  • 4. I want to submit my film for the Competition section.
  • Entrants cannot choose the screening section on the process of entry submission. It’s the Festival Selection Committee’s sole authority and responsibility to determine each film’s screening section.
  • 5. Production Year
  • All submissions for JIMFF2022 must have been completed after 1 January 2020.
  • 6. Premiere status
  • Films for the Competition section must keep their Korean Premiere until the 18th edition of JIMFF ends: 11 ~ 16 August 2022.
  • 7. What is the festival’s standard for feature / short films?
  • Based on running time, a feature-length film is 60 minutes and/or more, and a short is less than 60 minutes.
  • 8. When can I know the selection?
  • The Festival will be reaching out to the entrants of selected films in person during June.
  • 9. Is CC (English Subtitles) mandatory for submission?
  • All non-English dialogue films must be English subtitles burnt-in for the screener and as well as for the final screening copy.
